Note: Test structure is the same as test structure for the StreamLine Web Automator. The only difference is that the first sheet, the one used to specify the homeURL, is optional here.
Step 1: Specify your web elements in the elements table (right)
Provide a name for each web element. On each excel sheet. Element names must be unique.
Specify how to access each of the web elements by providing a locator type and a locator value. Visit our FAQ if you have questions about this.
Step 2: Create your test cases in the test table (left)
Choose a name for your test case. Do not leave the cell in this column blank.
Provide the name of the web element being tested. If the test case does not require a web element, you can leave the cell blank. All values in this column should be references to cells in column J.
Enter an action/keyword from the StreamLineQA Keywords/Actions Dictionary. Do not leave the cell blank.
Enter the expected value of the test case. If the test case does not have an expected value, this cell can be left blank.
Categorize your tests. R, F, S, A, I, W, M, V, C, K, N. These can be combined.
